Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully. By accessing or using the Reflect website, applications, or related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Reflect Me AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Reflect," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.

Eligibility

Reflect is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Description of the Services

Reflect provides a platform that allows users to privately record video reflections and receive AI-generated insights about patterns, thoughts, and personal development over time.

The Services are designed as tools for personal reflection and self-exploration and do not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.

AI-Generated Insights Disclaimer

Reflect uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to generate summaries, observations, and insights based on user content.

AI-generated insights may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misinterpreted and are provided for informational and reflective purposes only. They should not be relied upon as medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or medical emergency, contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy/, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

User Content

The Services allow users to create, upload, store, and transmit content including video recordings, audio recordings, written reflections, and related materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to the Services, you grant Reflect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, process, and analyze your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Infringe the rights of others
  • Upload malicious software or harmful code
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract proprietary data or models
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Services
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Services ("Feedback"), you grant Reflect the unrestricted right to use that Feedback without compensation to you.

Intellectual Property

All software, technology, branding, and materials provided by Reflect (excluding User Content) are the property of Reflect Me AI, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features of the Services may require payment or subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method according to the billing terms presented at the time of purchase.

Modifications to the Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be available at all times or without interruption.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Services in a way that could cause harm to Reflect, other users, or third parties.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reflect and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Except where prohibited by law, disputes arising out of these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis rather than through class actions. Either party may bring eligible claims in small claims court.

Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable consumer arbitration rules, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, you and Reflect agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

International Users

The Services are operated from the United States. By using the Services from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of information in the United States.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
